- חסרי מדינה או מחזיקי הגנה בינלאומית שגרו ברציפות עם מגורים קבועים באיסלנד לפחות 3 שנים רשאים לרכוש אזרחות איסלנדית באמצעות הצהרה כתובה ל-UDÍ לפני גיל 21. נוסף על פי חוק 61/2018 (§3 פסקה 2), נכנס לתוקף 2018-07-01.

ELIGIBLE -- URGENT FILING REQUIRED. Act 100/1952 s3 (per L. 61/2018): stateless person continuously resident in Iceland >= 3y notifies UDI in writing before age 21. Applicant resident since 16 (4y continuous), currently 20 -- window open for approximately 12 months. IS citizenship acquired via UDI notification without full s7 naturalization process. Faster than IS-NAT-STATELESS-5Y-01. MUST FILE before 21st birthday -- failure forfeits this faster track permanently.
IS-DSC-DECLARATION-STATELESS-3Y-01 is the youth-track declaration route within A180 citizenship-framework. 3y from age 16 = condition met at age 19. Applicant at age 20 has approximately 12 months remaining. Strong recommendation: file immediately. After age 21, must use IS-NAT-STATELESS-5Y-01.
