A person born in the reverting Canal Zone territory during 1 Oct 1979 - 31 Dec 1999 is Panameno por nacimiento under Const Art 9(1) 'nacidos en el territorio nacional', the former Zone having become unambiguous 'territorio nacional' at reversion.
