Exceptions & edge cases
- DISCONFIRMED. There is NO reacquisition-of-nationality route for NATURAL-BORN Panamanians, because natural-born nationality is never lost (Art 13 'no se pierde'). A natural-born Panamanian who acquired another nationality does not 'recover' nationality — only lifts the ciudadania suspension (recobro). Reacquisition/recovery of nationality proper is relevant ONLY to naturalized persons who actually lost it.
